A message from Malouf:

After a few days of resting in Roesh after your year-long quest, you wake one morning to find yourself summoned by Malouf. He says the following:

Snow has left. We will see her again in a month in Betaya. We must not follow her. She gave me these *hands scrolls & whatnot to Brecaryn* to give to you. Even though it's wrong, I will take charge taking advice from you. We all must face our challenges. This is mine. I'll show Snow she was wrong *looking at Alana, Lieralyn, & Flerm* and she did good with us. Where to next?

A list of potential future quests follows, but it's also worth considering each of your characters motivations and determining what keeps you with the rest of the group now that the menace to the continent has been ended.

  • Lord Phantar is missing, and the Knights of Phantar have asked you to find him.
  • Beeblebrox has also gone missing after a seeming attack on the tower of Sorcerer's Isle
  • Brecaryn has been having dreams about the resurrection of the white dragon Gloiterwome
  • The hobbits of Pern are having trouble with a landshark.
  • The Bards Guild, based in Betaya, has questions for your group

The scroll from the Bards needs to be addressed quickly. We have overcome many obstacles and it appears have earned a place in songs throughout the kingdom. I do not care about the name of our group if we must be named. If any of you have a suggestion how you want to be remembered, let me know soon as I know the Bards are anxious for our reply about Lashtal.

Although we have defeated the Red Bull, there are many things that still require some resolution. I do not know the reason Beeblebrox had to chosen each of you for our quest. All I know is that we succeeded together where many would have failed. I would like each of you to consider remaining with the party for awhile longer as there are some immediate concerns in Chumera.

I am sure Josy would like to help her people, and as she has done much for us during our trials, I would like to help. Speak now what you wish to do, as there is little time to waste.

I say we find the Beeblebrox and then go help Josy. The least he could have done was stick around until the mission was doned and we owe Josy, I guess. Or we just go around different towns and get gratuities from them for the great work we did. Now that's a plan. Stupid sword would disagree though.

I don't want to end up with a silly name, I say we head to Betaya to answer these questions and to also buy some new clothes.

Next we should help the hobbits of Pern since they are kin to Josy.

I care not for Beeblebrox as I feel he has not honored our arrangement from the beginning.

Umm he was kinda kidnapped no? You're messed up in the head Leiralyn. I say we call ourselves "Fleminator and his band of Gnomes" In honor of Chyek the gnome.

Flerminator forgot the r

I also decree that if there is not a 3/4 majority vote against the group name by posting before Sat. that it shall stand henceforth and forthwith. At such time we will register the name with the proper authorities and any use of the name without express written consent from FAHBOG is punishable by death or a payment of 100 platinum pieces.

Flerm, you are not smart enough to decree anything. Leiralyn, if you have any suggestions for a name for our group, go ahead. We do not need to head to Betaya at this time to answer anything. Snow may be in Betaya at a later date, and I do not see the need to waste time by heading over there first. It would be simpler to respond by scroll. Although I do wish to return to Betaya at a later date. I would like to speak to the mages here to discuss the possibility of Gloiterwome's return.

Does your response so far imply that you all will remain with the party? As far as Beeblebrox goes, as much as I would also like to see to his return, we have no way of locating him at this time. I feel this is not the most urgent quest we must face. I believe the possibility of the dragon's return as well as helping the hobbits would be the wisest course at the moment.

No offense meant, Flerm. and what does FAHBOG stand for, just out of curiosity?

I am glad that you have all taken to helping my fellow hobbits. I don't mean to be a nussance, but as I see it, the hobbits of Pern are the most pressing matter at this time. Unless there is another urgent matter that comes up like the dragon reappearing, I feel drawn to Pern because I feel for the hobbits there in this difficult time. I do plan to remain with the party so long as we are needed as a team, but I do not know that I will contribute at my best when my thoughts are elsewhere. If the group decides to travel to another town first, I may go off to Pern on my own to see what I can do before you get there.

FAHBOG is an acronym for "Fleminator and his band of Gnomes," duh! I thought your supposed to be the smart one? Anyways, I veto the name. Bull Hunters would even be better. I don't care, but we do kinda need a name. We can send the info by scroll asap.

I say we kinda gotta find Beeblebrox. If he's been kidnapped, or whatever, the least we could do is find the guy. Dreams are dreams, but Beeblebrox could be in serious danger too. If it wasn't for him, we might not have gotten together to end all these problems. I think we owe the guy that much. Besides, maybe he can help w/ the dragon if she comes to get us. We're gunna need help. Let's help Josy too, we couldn't have done all this without her healing so we owe her. Landsharks could probably eat hobbits in one bite! Let's try and learn about these creatures before we leave though.

Oh, I do like letting towns know we ended the problems cause then we can get stuff. I like stuff! The should honor our greatness.

What the hell do you mean not smart enough. It's a name you snob. Next time you go unconcious your head might take a vacation from you body! And what the hell is up with adding comrade automatically.

(Reposted from October 17, 2008)

Yeh daft fool. Try calling me a Gnome to my face! I'll cut yer legs off at the knees. We'll see who's a Gnome then.

We're called Dwarves boy. Dwarves.

(Reposted from October 17, 2008)

Dwarve? Chyekk is a very common Gnome name I am told. I shall consult Josy. Perhaps you're one of them half breeds then? Such anger is not good for ye. Aren't you suppose to be a jolly people? As my comrades have already stated I an not a learned individual. How about "Flerminator and his band of Dwarves." Or Half Dwarves.

Enough with the nonsense.
While I care more to aid those in need than how my name will live on, I do care about Lashtal's good name and the rest of my companions. But, Brecaryn is right. The bards can be sent a message answering their questions and telling them when we plan to be in Betaya to answer more.
In Pern, many lives are in great immediate danger. That should be our task now that we have made it safer for travel, to aid those in great danger. This is what I expect Snow would want of us.
