Skelly's Gang's 'Sundays at the Studio' Improvisational Round-up
The Skelly Gang is a loose underground consortium of improvisational musicials led by Mike Toscarelli, the famed electronic drummer and keyboardist of Mixed Meteor. Frequent collaborators include guitar virtuoso Carlos Morales, Jay Santiago, responsible for bass and other sounds that you never thought could come out of a bass guitar (see Queen Ant for example), and SuperMegaMonkey's own Rod Brady. Somewhat less frequent collaboraters include guitarist Rich Santiago and the forgotten Didjeridoo Player. The music has a focus on sprawling pschedelic jams and experiments, heavily processed effects, and vintage synthesizers.
