When a character has had more than one name over the years, I will try to use the most common name in order to faciliate character searches. This chart shows the names i'm using for those characters.
Note: The information here is accurate, but incomplete. There are a lot more characters with multiple names that i need to list here. But updating this is low on my priority list.
Name used |
Description |
Baron Zemo I |
Heinrich. The father. |
Baron Zemo II |
Helmut. The son. AKA Phoenix, Citizen V. |
Beetle |
Abner Jenkins. AKA MACH-I, MACH-II, MACH-III, MACH-IV, etc. |
Big Man |
Fredwick Foswell. AKA Patch. |
Bill Foster |
Another Pym particle guy, so of course he has a million names. AKA Black Goliath, Goliath, Giant-Man. |
Captain America (Grand Dictator) |
The crazy, anti-commie Cap from the 1950s. FYI, Spirit of '76 and Patriot are tagged under those names. |
Eric Josten |
Like Henry Pym, he's had some serious identity issues. AKA Power-Man, The Smuggler, Goliath, Atlas |
Fixer |
Norbert Ebersol. AKA Techno. |
Angel (Golden Age) |
The masked crimefighter from the Golden Age. |
Human Torch (Golden Age) |
Jim Hammond. The android Torch from the Golden Age. |
Vision (Golden Age) |
The alien from the Golden Age who appears in a wisp of smoke. |
Gilgamesh |
The Eternal who was banished for meddling in human fairs. AKA The Forgotten One |
Hate Monger |
It's weird, but I call Adolph Hitler by his 'supervillain name' even in the Golden Age. |
Green Goblin |
Norman Osborn |
Harry Osborn |
Green Goblin II. So yes, i'm inconsistent with the Osborn Goblins, due to the fact that I think of Norman primarily as the Goblin and Harry primarily as Peter's schoolmate who happened to go crazy for a while and become a second Goblin. |
Henry Pym |
AKA Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, "Hank". I gotcher Identity Crisis right here. |
Invisible Woman |
Sue Storm AKA Invisible Girl. |
Jean Grey |
AKA Marvel Girl and Phoenix. I track the Phoenix Force as a separate tag, by the way. |
Moonstone II |
Karla Sofen. AKA Meteorite |
Nomad |
Jack Monroe. The Bucky from the 1950s who hung out with the anti-commie Cap. |
Paste Pot Pete |
AKA The Trapster. Nice try, Petey, but there's no getting away from that name while i'm around. |
Screaming Mimi |
Melissa Joan Gold. AKA Songbird. |
